I really wish I knew what program my son was going into after bootcamp.  I know it's Aircrew, but he said he has at least 2 years of school ahead of him before he even begins his job.  He told me what it was at MEPS, the recruiter had just told him, but I didn't write it down and now I can't remember...ugh!!!  I wanted to look up information online about it.  Anybody have any ideas? Thanks

My son is Aircrew as well and is currently in BC. From what I understand, they don't truly know their official rate until completion of A school because of the various jobs that are within the AIRC rating...

Comment by lemonelephant on June 1, 2015 at 2:02am

antsmom, that is correct (well, except for your use of "rate" and that should have been "rating" and AIRC is a "program" not a "rating").
