General Duty

My son got a general duty waiver what does that mean?  He was supposed to be aircrew but medical problems have changed that, unfortunately.  Will he be able to pick something else or will they pick it for him?

New PIR Date New Info Needed

So now that my son's PIR date has changed how do I get the gate pass?  I assume we will be put on the list for next Fridays PIR?

Hotel List

So now that my son's PIR date has been moved, hopefully, I need to find out about hotels again. Someone posted a list of hotels that were recommended.  I'm not sure where I saw it, here or on Facebook.  At this time I'm not sure of his PIR date, should know more on Monday.  I'm just nervous that if it's going to be the first week of July I won't be able to get a hotel room.

Son Pulled From PIR

Help....my son just called and said he may not graduate on 6/26/15 and he may be discharged.  He is now in the area for injured SR's.  Is there a phone number or something where I can call him?  I thought I saw something about that before but can't find it now.  Thank you

No Hotel Shuttle

I just found out the hotel we're staying at for PIR does not offer a shuttle to PIR.  So now I need advice on getting to PIR on time.  My husband is very relaxed on time and doesn't rush for anything and that is stressing me out.  Although we were on time for my step-sons Army bootcamp graduation.  Stressing now...ugh!!!

After PIR Travel

After PIR is there a restriction on how far the graduates can go?  My step-son wants to meet us in Chicago, which is about an hour away, after graduation.  Wasn't sure if they are allowed to go that far or if it's too much to do in one day?

Pay Day

Is Monday, June 1st going to be payday for our SR's?  I've seen comments posted before about this but I can't seem to find it again.  My son left for BC 4/29

Not Sure What Son's Doing

I really wish I knew what program my son was going into after bootcamp.  I know it's Aircrew, but he said he has at least 2 years of school ahead of him before he even begins his job.  He told me what it was at MEPS, the recruiter had just told him, but I didn't write it down and now I can't remember...ugh!!!  I wanted to look up information online about it.  Anybody have any ideas? Thanks
