Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

One month down... It feels like forever!
It has been just over a month since my husband left for his deployment. The holidays were tough, to say the least. I got A email on christmas that said just that "merry christmas" and nothing on new years :( I have gotten to talk to him more than I originally had thought I was going to be able to. I get emails just about every day and I am sooooo so thankful for that. This month, if I take it day by day, has been the longest month of my life!!! Each day seems to drag and not being able to find a job makes it depressing. But if I just look back on the month as a whole, it has gone by very fast. It seems like I havent seen my husband in yyeeaaarrss but at the same time it hurts like he just left yesterday. I have gotten to the point where I can keep a conversation on the phone with him without crying, and I am very proud of myself for that. He mentioned that he could buy a webcam and we could skype when he pulled into port but I dont think I could handle seeing him. Just the thought of being able to see and hear him at the same time sends tears pouring down my cheeks. I miss him so so much. I wish he could come home at the end of a hard days work and just relax beside me. I wish this deployment was almost over. but its just the beginning.

It's almost over =) Keep your head up. I cry for hours some days and then some days just fly by. I keep myself busy with little projects. LOL, but it's hard to do my own thing when the girls always want to do something =)
