I got another letter yesterday and our son is doing well.  Actually he is doing great! He did have his wisdom teeth pulled and he said it wasnt that bad. They numbed him up pretty good and gave him a day or 2 to recover.  That made me feel a little bit better since I could no be with him and feed him yogurt or mash potatoes!! hahahah

He really LOVES the church service on Sundays.  He takes that opportunity to walk into a stress-free environment and worship our Lord and Savior! To me, this has been the best part.  He is growing not only in his maturity but also in his spiritual walk with God! As, a Mom, this is the best news I can hear. That no matter what shakes him, he can overcome! Because he has God on his side! I am truly grateful to God for continuously providing strength and wisdom to our son.  It is a huge testimony that God is on control of our lives no matter what the circumstances.  He is the Yeoman over his division and so he takes a lot of heat when the guys do not perform well or just slacks off.  We have encouraged him that the RDC's see the same potential in him that we have always seen and bore witness to over and over again.

To some, this may come across as "too much God" but trust me.. our beautiful country that our sons and daughters serve needs God more today than yesterday!

I hope all is well with each young man, young woman and that their parents and siblings! May we continue to be encouraging and supportive of their choice to serve our great nation!  May God richly bless each of you and may you be comforted on this day and the days to come!

Much love and appreciation to all of the families and these leaders!!

Sincerely,

Delta
