Got a phone call from baby girl last night, she sounded so upbeat so far so good, they haven't gotten to the rough part yet but she's looking forward to getting through it. They want to pull one of her wisdoms but she's not sure if they are going to wait till she get to A school. It felt so good to hear her voice, I know now for sure she is ok and that feels good. She was advanced to E2 and looking forward to being advanced to E3, I can't say enough how proud I am of my baby girl for she has never been away for longer than a week but she's handling herself pretty good. She told me to expect a second letter, they can only mail out on Sundays, and she still haven't received my letters yet.
It would be unusual for her to be advanced to E-3 while in BC if she has already been advanced from E-1 to E-2. See E-1, E-2, or E-3? How did that happen?.
It is common for mail to recruits to be delayed a bit. It will be getting to her regularly soon. Yes, she can only mail letters after holiday routine on Sundays. See Letter Writing & Fun Stuff/Questionnaires to send to your Recruit.
Well she did 2 yrs of JROTC in high school and that qualified her to advance to E2, her high school recruiter had to fax paper work, and she explained to me about the late mail she was just as happy as I was for the phone call.
That is different since she should have had the E-2 prior to BC. Perhaps she will advance to E-3 depending on how well she is doing and what responsibilities she is taking on.
Yes I think her recruiter didn't turn in her paper work she had to call so he could fax it, but I can't say enough how proud I am of her she ran, exercised every day to prepare for this moment. I wish her and all the recruits the very best and pray they accomplish their goals.
:o)
My daughter is Aircrew and went in at E2. She was in the DEP program for 10 months and referred 2 recruits that swore in before she left for BC. According to those in her recruiter's office, she should make E3 at the end of BC and hopefully E4 after Pensacola A school. We are new to this so I only have the word of those in our local office.
