Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Had a little worry a couple days ago my son called saying he didn't want to do this anymore. because he didn't want to lose contact with his family .. well today we was able to talk .. he staying of course <3 he's was just worred ..they did change ship to ship 14 division 307 I'm so excited, so happy and so proud lol he did mention he feels like a robot that boot camp the physical part was really easy to him but the psychological part little bit overwhelming. I'm so happy to hear from him today was really worried he was going to make a regretful decision on leaving but my boy smarter than that.. and he made a decision on his own.. happy tears.. lots of happy tears today...miss him like crazy .. can't wait to see him on PiR 8/16...

My blue candle is lit . Too show my Love and happy that he has a strengh to get through this..

I am glad that you have gotten another call and that he is going to stay.

They are doing some renovations at the RTC, so there have been a few divisions in each TG that have had to move to a new ship.

You may want to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members).

(If there are others who find this and don't know about the blue candle, go to Blue Candles within  Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones).)

This is a good place for your son to get strong, he will be OK. When he call just give words of encouragement. When they are young and have to leave home it's not easy, love them but them go. Keep the faith and keep praying.

good to here,, thats why I tell future prospects to have someone cuss them out in the face for about an hour, to get use to the idea, thats is not intentionally mean't, just the job they have to do.. my spanish temper helped my son alot, lololol.  blessingsssss ;)

lol @hello2y   yea our spanish temper does get us i trouble..  very happy he made the rt choice.. he have grown so much in just a few weeks..
