So Sad!!!!!. I've only gotten the formal letter from my daughter with her expected Grad date of July 29th. She did write a small msg at the bottom. She actually left for BC on June 6. I really need to receive a letter from her in order to calm my anxiety. HOPING!!!! for a letter very soon. I've written her several. I guess I needed to get that out.  I just want to hear her voice. Anyway, does anyone have someone Graduating on July 29, 2011, Ship 09, Div 239. I'm hoping to meet other parents in the Waukegan area. It has been so nice being able to talk to others with a lot of the same feelings. Please, Please let me know about this grad date??????

Keep writing to her everyday!  She really needs it!!  Y our letter is probably on its way.  My letter comes on Wednesday, they can only write on Sunday.  Sometimes they dont get your mail it is held up training the new mail person...  I was the same way, my daughter left 5/24 and she graduates the same days as your daughter.  My daughter got held up in processing for 20 days because of the Memorial Day holiday.

Hey Doebabe:  Don't worry! You will get a letter this week!  My recruit also is set for PIR on 7/29. We did get a letter this past Friday. I think the mail is very slow!!! Did you join the 7/29 PIR group that is started? you should do that. Keep writing her!

Be happy. You got the form letter with her graduation date - that means she is doing just fine. She could be calling you and telling you that she is miserable and had gone to see the chaplain because she is incredibly depressed and she thinks they are sending her home! There are so many things that can derail her.
