My youngest son arrived at boot camp on Dec. 13 I thought it would be easier for me since I already have a son in the Navy, but it is still hard going through this process.

KLT73, your recruit had the Baseline PFA right on time on the fifth business day after arrival. See Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) and Fitness Improvement Training ....

Thank you.

He just already knew his division and PIR, before the test,  so that was why I thought it was odd. I promise I'm making no plans until the form arrives.  I'm guessing either they didnt take his wisdom teeth, like they did with my daughter, or if they did, it all went fine.

Recruits are assigned to a division soon after arrival, but it is not official until they pass the Baseline PFA Wisdom teeth are not removed during Phase 1 (P-days).

I finally got a letter from my son he is division 114 but he didn’t send the PIR date, so I guess I’m still waiting. He said he had a bad cold and has to sit back a little but he wasnt getting pushed back.

I'm so glad you heard from him. But sorry he hasn't been feeling well. I pray it will pass quickly.

M and J's mom, PIR is 02/08/2019. Make plans. I put more info on your My Page.

FYI. When I called Navy Lodge yesterday, they were already full that weekend, except for Feb 7th. I enjoyed staying there last time. Bummer.  Luckily, there are several hotels in a 2+ mile radius.
