Still waiting at home for that first letter..What I don't like is not knowing..Other mom's know what A school their son's are attending after BC..or which division they are in..I know nothing..Is it that some recruiters work harder than others..I'm getting anxious my emotions are everywhere..My son is a very loving person and I'm a cold person ..Him leaving like this has changed me inside..I miss him soooo much words can't express it..We went thru a rough patch when he was 17yrs old just like other teenagers he fell in love and ignored any advice we as parents thought were right. Last year when he signed up, things changed. We were able to connect again and now here I am proud and loving him for making the right choice for himself. Joshua is my life. I had him when I was 17yrs old and he was my strength when I was alone now its my turn to be there for him..love u Josh..

First of all, we all know what you're going through....Second...the recruiter should have his address, ship, div, etc, if he has been gone longer than 3-5 days, and the contract he signed last year when he joined should tell you where his school is going to be and this site will tell you how long that school generally is. It is a very rough time for moms when they leave for bootcamp...but remember, your son would want you to be strong..as my son says..Be Strong Navy Mom! You can do this! You should look up your son's rate on here and join a group for that rate...lots of info waiting for you.
