Well, today was a bit hard, harder than some of the others. I got up and went to curch today and everybody was hugging me and asking if I was holding up ok and if I had heard from him. I smiled and said yes I am good I know he is in good hands! But, wow it makes it hard when everyone asks over and over if you have heard from him. Especially since that is the hardest part for me. Not talking to him. I hve all my letters ready to mail tomorrow. I know he won't get them for at least another week, but it makes me feel better knowing they are there waiting on him. I found out he is in Ship 9 Division 003. So far I haven't found anyone else with a recruit in that group. Which makes me sad because I so want to just talk to someone that has a recruit with J. I think it will make me feel closer to him. I want to thank everybody for the support that I have gotten on here it means so much. Noone seems to understand what I am going through here at home except for the people I have meet here on N4M! I have several other mothers in church that have soilders in Afganistan and they know the boot camp routine, but they are all army. From what I gather it is very different. They got letters the first couple of days and also got to talk to their loved ones more often. Well, I know with God in me and my son nothing will stand in our way! I pray everyday for our troops and loved ones. I think I am more aware of the military than I ever was. THe slightest thing military makes my heart stop and tears come to my eyes. Praying for them and our Nation. Don't forget all of you prayer warriors out there. There is a Nation wide fast starting tomorrow to last 40 days to pray for our Great Nation the God will make a mighty change in it. God bless you all!!
God Bless you HeatherT. My son arrive at BC on the Sept. 18th and I still don't have his Ship and Div numbers. Everyday I pray to God for a peace of mind and he is giving it to me. I miss my son dearly and his recruiter is sort of nasty, not willing to provide any info. I'll just have to pray for him. It's difficult having to wait for the form letter. Same with my church, no navy moms, only Marines and Coast Guard. We just need to keep in mind that the Lord is sovereign, so let's continue to pray and relinquish our anxieties to him. I didn't know about the fast. We desperately need it so I will do my part. God Bless!
