Got my third phone call today. She sounded so upbeat and ready for what ever comes next. Sounds like next week is not going to be fun but at least she sounds like she is ready for it.
She had her wisdom teeth out on Monday and I guess this put her on bed rest for two days. She did not like to not be able to do anything but at least she was still upbeat about it. Said that she was still bleeding a little but was not in pain and could talk. She did mention that she looked like a chipmunk with her cheeks being swollen. LOL
I felt bad for her and her Dad. He wrote her a couple of letters but put his own address instead of hers. He felt so bad, I hope getting to talk to her today helped him deal with that. She thought it was funny and felt bad that he was upset. I love my sensitive kids who are more concerned about other peoples feelings.
Seem to be on track for PIR and I am excited to share the positive upbeat call with her brother and sister who wait for those just like I do. Course now I am in tears again..... but at least I know that she is doing ok and is upbeat. She said she would not be able to call for a while so now I am back in a holding pattern. Thank goodness I can have my phone at work or I would have missed it.
I am praying for all!
