Notes! Cool idea from a kid who sounds really awesome! Very thoughtful that he would be thinking ahead about your feelings. He's going to make a wonderful sailor!! I can tell you're proud, and you should be.

No letter today either. I'm starting to feel like I should be standing at the Mailbox singing "Mr. Postman" every afternoon at 2... I think that's what the song is called!

I started looking at hotels in Great Lakes today. Even if I can't book a plane ticket yet, I can sure as heck book a hotel room... they can be canceled without penalty. Oh my goodness, there are a bundle to choose from! Just for fun I looked at non-refundable ticket prices.... they're over double the non-refundable prices. So I think I'll be taking a chance and tossing the dice that my sons date doesn't change. Well, I'm going to go see if I have a note in my coffee cup! LOL! ;)

By the way, I don't know if this is accurate, but I found a  diary of the schedule our recruits have during boot cmp. It was interesting, even if not 100% accurate!

No letter, honey. Still singing my song as the USPS drives by! ;)
I think this will be like watching a kettle. When I least expect it, a letter will arrive! Fingers crossed for you too.

Well this is the week I get to see my son graduate boot camp! Can not wait to see him, So proud of him, got a letter Saturday telling me he was made Master at Arms so he was pretty proud of that, All the letters I received during these 8 weeks have all been positive so that made this adventure so much better to deal with!!!
