Home from a wonderful time at our Sons Graduation Ship 11 DIV 331...  Words can not even begin to discribe the feelings at graduation.  He looked great told alot of funny stories but all in all he said it was a good experience :) He left early Saterday morning for Texas and I have not talked to him yet.  I know he is fine but would love to hear how Texas is?

Try to soak it all in.  We loved the Navy Lodge :)

I think my son needs a photo ID for PIR I didnt know this until Friday that he could not use his SS card... I dont know what to do its to late to get one now... HELP

Just printed our gate pass for graduation on 10/12... OMG it is almost here.  I am more anxious now than in the first few weeks that he was gone.  I can not wait to get the I'm a Sailor call :)

Does my 12 year old son need a photo ID for PIR??

I ordered DIV tees and they came in today but I think they are wrong, Does anyone else know what the DIV flag for 331 is?  Help :(

Today I thankful that there are only 17 more days until PIR... I am miss him so much.  But I sure am proud of all he is doing :)

I got 3 letters today from my SR!!! He sounds great much better than the first letter I got, which makes this mom beyond HAPPY :) He has passed his swim test, he was worried about the push ups but is doing those great and running is going good to.  I guess when they say no news is good news they are right.  He said to keep the letters and cards coming cause they are like Christmas morning :) so let me go so I can get to writing. Hope everyone has a great weekend…

Still NO letter :(

In our form letter instead of my son putting our names he put Mom, Dad, Sister and Grandmother... is that going to cause a problem... what should we do?

I know I saw on here somewhere about ordering division shirts and stuff., but cant find it now... can someone help me please... and I am counting Fridays we only have 7 more PIR 10/12

I was really hoping yesterday I would get the form letter, but I did not.  So today I am really praying that it will be in the box this afternoon...Need to seed all the letters and cards I have for my SR. 

I was really hoping my form letter would be in the mail yesterday, o well it is a little early but one can always hope :)

Yesterday morning I was getting ready to leave for work getting a travel mug for coffee when I twisted the top off and my

had left a note it telling me he loved me and not to forget it.  We have been finding notes all over the house that he has left

Our son left on 8-14-12 and we got his box on the 17th. I could not believe we got it so fast. And I did not think it was going to be that hard to get :( All the things he left with came back right down to his dirty underwear. He was able to keep his bible. This weekend has been hard and just missing him so bad. I went to a wedding on Saterday and the Moms were crying and I was like they are not going any where try sending one to the military. O well I know he is doing what he wanted to do…

I know that I have seen a site to that tells day by day what happens in boot camp but now I cant find it... Anybody know??

Got the call this morning at 2:30 that he had made it to GL and that I should have his box in about a week... He sounded good said he loved me and that was it. 

The last three days have a been crazy. We had my sons going away party Sunday and it was great. Then Monday it was off to the recriters where he checked into a hotal for the night, we were able to take him for dinner and we as a family had a great time, we laughed so hard we cried. Then when we took him back to the hotel is when it all fell apart. He was so strong, his sister who is 20 and has acted like she didnt care about the whole thing fell apart and just cried so did his little…

7 more days, it just doesnt seem real... and the closer it gets if I ponder to long it is hard to breath.  I know this is all God's plan and I know he will do great, its just going to be hard not to hear his laugh not to see his smiling face and empty room.  So proud and looking forward to the man is he going to become.  Just trying to soak it all in :)
