When he called from the airport the first time he left he said I can call again in about three weeks.  Its been 12days and I am still counting the days till I can hear from him again.....Sent so many letters and cards already and still I need to hear from him or at least get a little letter.  The waiting is nerve wracking for sure.

Hang in there...the call will come.  Usually by end of week 3.  Keep writing him.  When he calls, I can assure you that you BOTH will feel a lot better!  My son is in his FINAL week.  It was a long road for me as I missed him every hour of every day!  I will be seeing him on Firday..........I can't wait!  My phone is an accessory to all my wardrobes....and yes, even to the bathroom.  I should be hearing from my son tomorrow after Battlestations for the "I'm a Sailor" call.  All the best to your son.

@ Br549, I never thought about forwarding calls, I will have to look into that....since we are in the process of moving I want to see about keeping out old number so I don't miss his call....I would be just heart sick...AJV...I am counting the days to week three and praying I get a letter.  Son is not much of a writer but even two sentences will be treasure to me.....Peggy64...your time is nearing and I wish you the best reunion ever...I think its hard with a son but a daughter must be devastating....praying for all....
