Hi Tracey, my daughter arrived in G.L. on 7/29 too. Her BF received her box today. Her recruiter did not know her address today, but we are supposed to call tomorrow to find our the address. I've written two letters and am writing another tonight. Congratulations and all the best to you, your son and family.
The letter with the address arrives about a week after the box. RTC asks that you not mail anything until you receive the letter.
Traceykj. join the group, DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in July, to connect with others with loved ones who arrived the same day and may have PIR together.
Arrival and What Happens at the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what is happening and what to expect.
I left info for you on your My Page.
My son arrived at Great Lakes on the 29th as well. His recruiter had the address the very next day. I have had him check it about every 3 days to verify that it hasn't changed. I just heard from another mom who's child arrived the same as ours. She got her form letter today and says that graduation is on Sept 25th. My son is in Ship 13 Div 319. Her son is Ship 13 Div 320. You may try contacting your son's recruiter to see if he/she can look his address up for you. At the very least they should be able to give you the division number.
