Our son called yesterday!  It was great to talk to him.  My husband was also able to speak to him too.  He said he passed the physical training and swimming.  He said he had to learn to fold his clothes, make his bed and March correctly.  Maybe if he had worked at the Gap store instead of Dunkin Donuts that would have helped him out with the folding. lol

He did say that the men in his division have all done a good job. No ones getting into trouble.  That's a relief.

I can't wait to see him May 11th.

So happy for you. My daughter graduates May 25th. If you take pictures can you post them on here. My daughter is in the performance Div and they said she will be performing two graduations before her and that would be your sons... If I could even catch a glimpse of her in a picture it would be so very nice. I know it's going to be such an emotional time when our children graduate, just thought if you took any pictures whenever you could post them maybe someone can see their son or daughter it may bring joy to them. I know it would me :-) Congratulations on your sons graduation.

Thank you so much. I haven't gotten any letters from her yet. Just the form letter but if I had to guess it would be the tuba. She marched with the high school band in 8th grade and then all of high school. 8th grade she played the baritone but then in high school was the first female to march the tuba. Funny thing she is so tiny and tuba is so much bigger than her... But I would think maybe that. Thank you for responding, it means so much to me.

Hi Donna,

Great to hear how well both our boys are doing, passing the swim and PT test.  It sounds like a lot did not pass the PT test so they have something to be proud of.  He said his job is 'ship staff' which is cleaning the barracks.  He sounded like he really liked it and was becoming a member of a team.  hope to see you at graduation and pleas keep posting news from our boys.  I have posted in some other forums on here when I got the call, and hadn't seen your post until today.
