Thank you Colleen for the Welcome. Im new to Navy 4 Moms.com, its my first day on the site and Im glad to know that I can communicate with parents who have their loved ones in the Navy. My daughter Mele just arrived to boot camp on12/11/12 and I already got my 30 sec call which was too short but at least I know she arrived safely. I look forward to meeting and communicating with any parents etc. I dont really know how to use this site but Im sure I will figure it out as time passes. Can anyone let me know if theres anything I should know. Im still waiting for her box and letter to arrive in the mail. Im from Maui Hawaii so it might take awhile.
Thank you Colleen. I will be sure to check out all the valuable information on this site. I feel better already to have found this site!!! Again, thanks.
hi my name is theresa and my husband recently is in bootcamp and he will be graduating january 18,2013 but i need to now if he wuld be coming home 1st and then going to a's school 4 corpsman schooling plz let me now
I am still learning my way around N4M. More reading than posting. With OPSEC I see I can make lots of mistakes. So I will keep my comments short. My sailor is at Great Lakes A school for two months then on to other training areas. Thanks for your site.
Thanks Colleen... I am looking forward to taking a look around and getting connected with others. My daughter left today, so I'm just waiting on her to call me and then I'll be waiting on her first letter that lets me know of her address.
thanks for the welcome, my son just graduated nov. 30 yesterday, he is now at sub school but anxious waiting for his call to say he arrived safe, if your son or daughter is still in basic be encouraged they are fine and will do good.
Thanks for the welcome. I am very new to this my son left on Tuesday 11/27/12 for basic training. It has been a long hard week for me. I was havig a very bad morning and some of the moms gave me the encouragement to make it today.
This is my first posting. So glad I found this site. I have much to learn. Our son is on Ship 3, Div. 060. Graduation set for Jan. 18 in Great Lakes. Any advise on a good hotel with a shuttle to graduation, tickets, weather conditions in January for Great Lakes. Thank you.
OKay, I got her formal letter from the Navy mentioned her graduation day which is on Jan. 11th.
She is SHIP 02 DIV 909. So far i didn't get any phone calls and her letters yet! Why is taking so long for me to have a letter from her? I know she is okay so far no news is good news. But Like any other moms are still concerning how they doing.
Also I need some good advises tips of airplane tickets, reservations and transportation before her graduation day.
Now, my other important question is: after she graduates how long she will spend time with her family at the hotel and what's the time she have to return? so far she said her school is in another state (maybe texas or California) I'm not sure at all. She wants to be a Navy Corpsman.
So please, if anyone in here have some good info. Don't hesitate to write me in my inbox or to write me in my e-mail: cramirez-herrera@hotmail.com in details if you can.
Thanks to all! Have a great day :))
Thanks for the welcome! Did I say something inappropriate in my posting? I am new to the site (of course, you knew that already) so still trying to figure some of it out!
Thanks for the welcome Colleen. My son told me about this site before he left and I've already read so much helpful information. Look forward to meeting moms in the same situation and helping each other through this time in our lives!
