keke's mom, Thank's for the nice message. Yes, I am frustrated & a bit bummed out about this but I know if there was anything wrong we would have heard by now. I am just kind of worried that it got put in the wrong mailbox by mistake, that's happened before around here. I did keep busy today & took 3 envelopes to the post office today for him. I hope he gets to open mail sometime this week or Sunday, they should be there by then. Would you like to get together sometime soon?
Yes we will be attending PIR on the 6th and we are staying at the Ramada. We're driving out and from there we are going to Tenn to visit my paents for a day or two. Unfortunately due to my Dad's failing health they will not be allowed to go to PIR, which was very disappointing for my parents. I will be sure to get the video.
Hi, Hooksett is not to far from us we are about 8 miles from NHIS. When is your son's PIR? And where does he go after GL? My son will be going to Pensacola.
Hi, My son's recruiter was in Portsmouth & I met him on Wednesday on our way to take Kevin up to Portland. He did answer some of our questions but I have learned so much more just from being on this N4M site! Kevin has a SWCC/Spec Ops contract & while he was delayed entry he did alot of workouts & met with that group a couple times a month. I have found a group of Mom's for SWCC too!
Keke's mom, to cute. I'll have to do that. I've been trying to get my son to write her a letter and he said just include what I need to say in your letter. So maybe the cat idea will be great. I sent her hugs and kisses the other day. I kissed the paper and drew arms to indicate the hugs. I'm just trying to be creative and make her laugh. I know she misses home. Her letter this week was short and she said she hasn't gotten any mail from us. I hope she'll get some soon so she doesn't think we forgot about her.
That is funny we have a cat but I didn't think to send a letter from him. Yes we are planning on going to PIR I'm so excited. The meet and greet sounds like alot of fun I'll have to do better at keeping up with that so we can meet.
I just noticed that you have PIR 8/6. Steven's is 7/30. Isn't it funny how being the closer to the first or last to fill a division will change the date. I thought for sure that would have the same PIR. In fact, I planned vacation time for 8/6. So glad I was able to change it. Steven will be in Gulfport, MS for his A school. I wish he could be in GL so I could visit him more. Guess that will give his dad some time since he is only 600 miles from there.
Keep up the encouraging work. You are doing great!
Hi keke's mom. I saw you note on DEP leaving in June. Maybe our sons will meet up someday since they are leaving the same day. Mine will be in the Seabee as a BU. What will your be doing?
