I appreciate all the help and guidance you can give us. I hope to meet yall at the Meet n Greet at the Ramada.....that happens to be where we have rooms booked...just by chance that happened.
Hey! I am still trying to figure out this site. I am not sure about private messages - it would be nice if we could. Not sure who to ask. I am still having a hard time following all the groups' conversations - some start from the 1st page and others are the other way around!
Yes, go to your discussion. At the top, you will see "Options". Click on that and a drop down menu will come up. There is an option to "Delete Discussion" there. Just click on it.
Yes, I would be happy to add Colton's Mom...but has she joined the group yet? I only see a "cc" who has joined. Is that her? Once she joins, I can add her as administrator.
Hey, so I see you started it as a discussion in bootcamp group. We need to have the PIR group in the GROUPS section of the site, not under bootcamp. So I started one there. Go to www.navyformoms.com/group/pir342011 and join!
Would you like to be added as an administrator? If so, let me know. That would give you privileges to design the page (like adding a countdown clock, etc). I wanted to get at least 2 people from this PIR group as adminstrators. If you would like to, let me know!
Hi Suzanne! I just found your comment from Saturday! I still trying to figure out the n4m's layout. I am going to call the recruiter in about an hour to see what info he can give me.
Thanks "CrazyNavyMom", a friend recommended this site and it's been a big help. I have two sons who were going to join the Navy and it's looking like the first to go may be the only to go due to newly-diagnosed high blood pressure in my oldest son. What an emotional week all the way around! My kids are so firmly wrapped around my heart as, I'm sure, yours are. I'm so hoping I can get a mailing address and a box on Monday. Thanks for your prayers, I am praying for all of these young men and women as well.
I didn't formally post that my son was leaving on Jan 4th but I'm guessing you picked up on it through another post? We had to say goodby on the 3rd because of where we live and I have not gotten his box yet. I'm surprised that others have 'though maybe, again, it's because we are not close to a large city. I know nothing about his division or an address. I'm supposed to be able to hopefully get the address on Monday. This is really hard...!
