OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I haven't been on this site for some time, and I've moved from WV to AL.  I logged on looking for information about the return of CG66 and I see you are in Wetumpka!  I'll be staying at the Navy Lodge, too,,,

I wish I knew what was going through his head.  He wants to be a screen writer but he is so gifted in Math and Science......He could be anything he wanted to be.  I still have hope.  He just moved back home with some serious rules....if he breaks them he's gone even though it will be the hardest thing for me to do and break my heart.

I sent a message to your inbox for a little 'privacy'  My son is Benjamin he will be going to A school there in GL for ACEF.  I'm sad that I have had no letters or calls-I guess if he is still Division Yeoman, he may not even have time to do any of that.

He is...he got his body fat % down 2% lower than they said, but at MEPS they measured differently than the recruiter did and said he had to lose another 3 inches. He is built like a tank, but he has been running and swimming, but now is running with a back pack of books and on the beach sand to try and up the workout. He is v ery determined, but was very dissapointed that he wasn't able to get a date for BC then. He is hoping linguistics will open up by Jan, as that is what he really wants. I am hoping the holidays don't get the best of him!

No, can't say I am familiar with Slapout! I live in Dothan. My son was delayed due to a measurement, so he will go back to MEPS in Jan. for measuring and swearing in and BC date. His name is Jonathan as well! Take care, CJ
