Whew ~ finally back and checking in with everyone. Thank you all for your patience, again...  Wow, my bed looks really comfortable - Haha

I will be looking and approving requested members. Uploading photos, updating groups and all the stuff over this weekend. HooYah Navy Strong!

I also need to look in, join and post about our writing group in the upcoming PIR Groups to locate some more SR's that can use a card or letter.

You all are the BEST!

Hello N4M's,

Just a quick note to let everyone know that PIR is amazing, worth the wait and the feeling is almost indescribable! ;)

Currently I am with immediate family in the boonies. We have an eminent situation that is working out well, yet all consuming.

With that, I apologize for the delay in approvals for request to join and everything that needs attention. Expecting to be back "online" inline by next weekend.

NAVY STRONG!

Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Hello My name is Veronica and My son is currently A SR. I would love to adopt a sailor and have my students write to a fellow sailor recruit. How do I get the information on who is not receiving mail?

My son wrote today and said he knows your son and he is one of his best friends.  He said he thought that was awesome that I had talked to his mom.  Didn't know him by his first name had to ask around to find out who he was.

I'm so glad you like our PIR group!  You know, if the SRs of these folks are anywhere near as great as their moms & gf, they've got a fabulous division! It's no wonder we haven't heard from them, right? You know, that no news is good news thing!?  LOL   Oh my gosh, I hear you about raising such an independent child. Yes, they don't feel the need to say, "mama!!!!" LOL  Dang it, I'd LIKE for him to want to tell me what's going on though! I'm a mama!  How very exciting for you to be so close. I can't wait to hear a bit more. I've been putting off the reservations, because of possible setbacks, so I am really looking forward to another week past..... I mean, it won't mean him coming home, but it will be the first step in the journey completed! Have a wonderful evening HM!

Good afternoon my new friend! Thanks for your request.  Oh my gosh, your son is nearly finished. How proud you must be HM!  We've still got a ways to go and we still haven't heard from our 11/128 SR. As Tom Petty put it...the waiting is the hardest part! LOL

Dear Hunters_Mom, You have been approved for "MAS We Ship Love. I must apologize for taking so long but when I searched for you, your page just did not turn up. " MAS We Ship Love" is where we keep the addresses for our contacts for "Molly's Adopt A Sailor." There have been a few spammers on N4M so we try to verify each mom before approval. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send me a message. Thanks for joining us. Pat
