Yeah I finally got my cable and internet so I can finally catch up on N4M. But yes I moved in about 9 days ago! Definately a lot hotter than Indiana.. ugh. I die in this heat. But yeah I live on Tringa! Haven't been out much though.. still trying to settle in and still have some boxes to unpack..you know, the fun stuff...haha
Wow, that's pretty crazy, though we've heard stories about changing orders like that before. We have a few friends who have been in the Navy for a long time and their advice is always: be as prepared as possible, and as flexible as possible. It does indeed sound like an adventure! I had heard some info about the prototype in GC messing up, does that mean that all prototype will be in NY? or just that there will be fewer nukes doing prototype in GC?
I will be at GC in mid-June. The picture was taken the Saturday before my husband went to boot camp. Our son Knox is 3 months old, you were right on! I am really looking forward to being in GC - how do you like it there? How has prototype been for your husband? How soon do you learn where your first station will be?
Boone is an awesome place to live! I just love the mountains. I am really excited about living in GC, though. I am just as much a fan of the beach and have been told there are some really great beaches around the area. How long have you been at GC? What rate is your husband? How old is your son?
