Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

You still need to make the changes below.
I hope to see you in Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones).
Since your then Sailor was not in an 800 division, it is fine to put the division number on the poster. Some put last names and some don't. It increases PERSEC not to, but there is not a big concern in the hall of a hotel PIR weekend.
Thanks for the Friend request; I hope we can be around for some time to support each other. If there is ever anything I can help you with, don't hesitate to ask. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
Don't forget to make the changes below.
Since your recruit is in one of the last divisions in the TG, you will most likely be receiving the "I'm a Sailor!" call on the Tuesday or Wednesday before PIR. See Battle Stations-21 (BST).
Join PIR 07/02/2015 TG 34 – 9 Divisions (223-230 and 934) to connect with others with loved ones training with your recruit. Divisions 229 and 230 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 (BST) together, so look for others with loved ones in either division. There will later be a discussion within that group for the two divisions.
I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there.
Take care and blessings to you and yours.
I hope to see you in Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones).
Since you have a recruit at the RTC, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted." You can make that change on the same change when you change the ZIP Code.
Don't forget to make the changes below.
Make at least change 3 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link).
There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.
Another change that I recommend that is mentioned in change 1 is to change the ZIP Code to one that is not easily associated with your future Sailor.
Join the group, DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in May. You will meet others with loved ones leaving next week who may be in the same TG and have PIR together.
Be sure to check out the discussion, Things to Do in the Last Month before Your Future Sailor Leaves for the RTC.
I also suggest you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and begin checking out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions there.
Your future Sailor may want to join http://www.navydep.com to learn the ins and outs from the DEP point of view. Craig runs that and will steer him to some good links on there.
