I am a mother of 3 girls . We are currently living in a small town in Arizona. I encourage my girls to go after what they want even if that means moving away. My daughter that is joining the Navy has a 4.0 GPA even with scholarships we couldn't afford college I do believe the Navy was the best choice for her. We just hope she can play some soccer while she is in the Navy.

My SR's name is Jason. He sounded so weary when I talked to him last poor thing. I've been getting the letter thing down lol! I haven't gotten any yet but I hope to get one  this week or next for sure! I will def. ask if he knows her! Man I am excited that they get to come in first and all that jazz. It'll be nice not waiting in suspense for their turn!!  lol.

Hey it's been a few days, how are you holding up?

Well I got my daughters box of goodies from bootcamp today . I didn't cry it was comforting to get something from her even if it was her dirty clothes , cell phone and her makeup, she did slip in a note for me with kisses and hugs. Still no address to send her letters waiting sigh..............

My SR was the same way! :) He also told me not to think he felt any different about me because of the way he was acting, it was something he needed to do to prepare himself to leave. I know I can probably speak for both of us when I say that we're both missing them like CRAZY. I say a few prayers a day to get through the rough times. I really do hope I get to see you in PIR. When do you think PIR will actually happen for our bunch? Did you get 'the box' yet?

At 5:42pm on November 17, 2011, celinamae said…

Yes, I know what you mean about the wondering how they are part. I was able to talk to my S/R up until he boarded the plane. How was your daughter before she left? Was she a bit distant? It'll be a long few weeks but that's what great about this site is that we can get through it together! Who knows maybe I'll even see you at PIR!! :)
