Hi there and welcome.... Hope you are doing well with your daughter gone!  I have a son who left but have a daughter who is looking into the airforce and I think having her leave will be different then my son... What a great choice these young women have made and so mature!  You have to be proud.

Happy Birthday to her!  My daughter will turn 19 on Jan 11, so she'll be in BC for her birthday too.  This 8 weeks will be the hardest, then at least we can have communication with them.  I keep focusing on them marching into that hall in uniform with "Anchors Aweigh"playing.......at least that how it is in my mind.

Hi Momofasailorgirl.....I pray our girls are doing well.  Lexsmom also has a daughter in Ship 09/Div 067.  I'm a mother of two (girls) ages 18 and 14.  This is a new experience.  I am so proud of my daughter and the path she has chosen, however I miss her dearly.  I pray we all get phone calls on Christmas day....or very soon.
