Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Hello!!  A friend of mine's son left today for MEPS and will go to Great Lakes in the morning!  Another Nuke!  Her name is Kim Jimmerson. I'm putting her in touch with this site, so be on the lookout for her and become her friend! Her son is the first to leave for the Navy!

Hope all's well with you!  Paddy leaves tomorrow and won't be back here with me...he will join my daughter (hoping you remember where she is...close to you!).  I'm sad to see him go and he's a little nervous about it as well...it's a long one! How's Cody? Let's get on the phone soon!

Hugs,

Kath

Hi Wendy -  It's nice to connect with a Napa mom.  My son has only been in the Navy since June.  He's very glad to be a part of it though.
