OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. There are now tickets issued, and there are no longer parking passes for PIR.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Since your Sailor has a contract for Aviation Aerographer's Mate (AG), join Aerographers Mate- AG - Moms and A SCHOOL, BILOXI, MS and check out Airman Family and Friends. You can also check out the Keesler Air Force Base Facebook Page. The Rating Information Card for AG can be found at https://www.cool.navy.mil/enlisted/rating_info_cards/ag.pdf.

Make changes 3 and 4 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link). There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.

Hi, do you have a recruit in BC or a Sailor in the Fleet?

You may want to join Girlfriends, Fiances, and Wives of Sailors.
