thank you for your input. I had planned to drive to PIR - leaving at some 0 dark 30 hour.... My daughter and DIL (the one's with kids) will take another rental car later. I hope we are abe to save seats. I cannot imagine a 7 yr old and 10 month old holding still for 3 hours until it begins.... not sure even I can do it!!!. I got many private emails about the Ramada and late shuttles and not desirable amenities. The Navy lodge is $65 per night, has internet, hair dryers and COFFEE!!! as for breakfast, they also have microwaves and refer. so cheerios will work for a few days. Thanks so much for thinking of me.

Hi, I hope we will be able to meet at the greet and meet at the Ramanda hotel. That is were my family and I are staying.I cannot believe the time is coming. It seems so long that he left and yet here it is.
Have a save trip, Cameron's grandma, abie
Hi, thank you for emailing me. I am very close to Cameron as well. He has lived with me,on Cape Cod, for 8 summers.. We have bonded from day one. I loved having every summer wtih him. When Cameron told me he was joining the navy, I was very proud of him. He made this decison on his own. He knew he needed to do something with his life and found this. He is going to be a corpsman. My late husband (17 years ) would have been proud of him as he was an er doc and his mother Jana is a pacu nurse.
Where are you staying for graduation?. We are at the Ramada. If you are there I am sure we will meet. . Keep your fingers crossed for battle stations. Be well, Ann-Beth
Hi, my grandson, Cameron Backus, seems to be in the same division as your grandson. C goes to Battle Stations on 3-4-10 as well. I am sure they will all do fine (i secretly keep my fingers crossed). Nice to know there is another grandmam out there. Are you going to graduation?
