This video is very nice to watch.  My daughter just left for Boot Camp this week and it's nice to see a little bit of what she's going through this week. Thanks so much! Lori

My son SR recruit just left in December but as I watch the video, it is very informative as to what the beginning feels like for them and I can only imagine the new experience of what they're going through but I was wondering what does the "X" on their hand means....?.....22 days left and still counting.....Hooray.......

Navymommary: When they say they get beat, it means that they have intense training...many push ups, sit up, etc. as punishment for individuals, but mostly as a group. It happens often in the first half. Sometimes, daily.
