Blankets! Are there any requirements? Size, color, fabric? I have fleece...
Fleece would be great! As a matter of fact I was given 6 fleece blankets that I am going to send. It has gotten cold in Iraq and the concrete structures they live in have no heat and holes in the ceiling. Anything that will help them keep warm would be great! Thanks!
I have 12 to send. They are the 50 x 60 size fleece blankets, already rolled. They were on clearance at my local Wal-Mart for $5. My co-worker brought some fun color ones to add to my basic colors. Should brighten things up a bit. Going to send a bunch of goodies as well.
THANK YOU!!!!!
Spreading the message as best as we can. I will call you soon so that we can catch up on life. ((hugs))
For the blankets, twin, full/queen? I found some fleece ones on amazon that are only $1 more for the full/queen size. I don’t want to send something too big.
Since they sleep on cots, maybe twin size would be best?????
That’s true! It would be thicker to double up but also more bulk to pack up. I’ll get some ordered today!!
Six more blankets headed their way! It hurts my heart to think of them being cold! I wish I could send heaters!
I'm running late. Mailing on 2/18 Fingers are crossed. Carol
