My son and the rest of the recruits ended staying another night last night in San Diego so I went to go see him since we're just 2 hrs away and God knows my heart needed this. I been crying and super emotional all day.

Hi All... My son left on 6/12 from NY. I have had a lot of ups and downs but this group has been a great support for me. I got my 12 second call at 10:30 PM on the 12th and just received my sons address from his Recruiter today. I have very mixed feelings about using this address until I hear from him as this site advises to wait in case it's a wrong address but I just want him to know how much I miss him but that I am doing a lot better than we thought I would be.
Yes, wait on The Form Letter. Things can happen that can change the info that is currently in the system for your recruit. He is still in Phase 1 (P-days), so he can't get any mail yet.
How you doing? Our boys are up there together. I am praying for all them up there. I signed up for Sandboxx as my son told me about it before he got to boot camp. Another way to send letters when you get the address. Told him I would write letters and use that too occasionally. I have done better now that it has been a couple days too.
My son shipped out June 12th from Nashville. Anyone else with a sailor that shipped from Nashville?
I am in Florida and mine shipped out that day. I am sure they are up there together. How you doing? It is getting better for me...started writing my son letters.
My son also left for BC on 6/12/18. We are from Albuquerque, NM
