Hi All! this is my first time posting and I was wondering if there are any moms out there who's child started boot camp yesterday, July 11th? I'm hoping the next 8 weeks go quickly.

I found out my sons ship and division late last night from his recruiter! Has anyone else here found out as well? I'm curious if our children are in the same ship and division. His graduation date is currently September 7th!!
That's great! We are booking tomorrow. Do you know your son's division?
Hi RCH MIN Mom. Yes, you should be able to get your son’s ship and division from his recruiter. I called my daughter’s recruiter and he gave it to me. I’m not sure if we’re allowed to share ship and division numbers? Hope you’re having a great Sunday!
Yes, you are able to share the Ship and Division number (only those with a recruit in an 800 division should not for PERSEC reasons).
Remember that the address that the recruiter gave you MAY or may NOT end up being correct. Addresses in the system can be wrong up to 11 business days or more after the recruit's arrival at the RTC. That is because the recruit was tentatively placed in a division upon arrival, but if the recruit fails the initial attempt at the run and then passes (or fails) the second attempt then the recruit will be in a different division (or in SEPS). The RTC has also moved recruits for other reasons not related to the run at times, possibly due to the number of recruits in various divisions.
Wait on The Form Letter, which now arrives 9 to 14 business days after the recruit's arrival at the RTC in most cases, before sending any letters.

Just got notification on my informed delivery that the form letter is coming today!!! My son arrived to BC on the evening of July 10th.
Hi Tallmom! That's so awesome! Let us know his PIR date when you're able. I received my daughter's form letter and her PIR is Sept. 7th.
His PIR date is 9/7 as well and he's in division 944. Hotel reservations are made! See you at graduation MamaG!
Right on! My Girl is in Div 345 and I received my first personal letter from her today and it was so nice to hear she is doing pretty good. She said she has the sniffles and she misses us and home and she's dying for communication, so send her lots of letters ... lol. See you at graduation Tallmom!
