I'm jumping the gun, post-wise, but my son is leaving for Boot Camp October 11, 2018, and I just wanted to see if there were any others from that time frame here yet. :-)

Welcome Lizbeth to Navy Moms, I will be posting some sites for you and your Loved one to go over on your my page. best wishes to your Son.

My son leaves the 9 I'm not sure how it works but maybe they will be in BC together ?

I also tend to jump very early but that helps me deal with my emotions better

Hi

My son is also leaving for boot camp October 11th. It’s nice to know there is someone in that time frame.:)

My Son was originally scheduled to leave Oct 8, but he received a call this week from MEPS telling him he is leaving on the 11th.

So .i guess I am saying yes I have a son leaving 10/11/18!

Are you as nervous as me?  My son, on the other hand, doesn't appear to be nervous at all.

:-)

2gooddogs, I left info on your My Page that will help you as you prepare.

My son is leaving October 11th as well. I'm super nervous but he's excited. Heck, I've already cried about it (including right now), but I'm emotional...

Traci, be sure to check the info I previously left on your My Page.

Hello all, my son left the 11th I know a few of you also has SR's leaving that day.

I received my "I'm Safe" call around 8:30 when did you receive yours?

It was kind of funny to hear the yelling in the background....did you hear that too?

Best to you all! I look forward to getting to know you as we progress through Boot Camp milestones together!

Peace,
