Received a short phone call today. My recruit has changed divisions within the training group. Still on track for original graduation date. Does anyone know why he made what I will term a lateral move?

It may have been done just to even out the number of SR's in the divisions. (Some may have been separated.)
Wow this is interesting- was It your recurits choice?
don't know. the phone call was short and he declined to answer a few of my questions. I think he was being monitored. hoping to have a real call soon or that he thinks to fill me in with his next letter.
Right ..... this is all new to me and any info like this will help settle my mind for when my son is there.
Hello all, my daughter changed divisions previously with same PIR date it was a scripted call but She was changed due to her getting sick and missing some mandatory training events. This could be the case for your recruit too. The weather has not been the greatest there and a lot of the recruits are catching colds.
My daughter is in Div 182 and notified me last week in her phone call home that she and others would probably be changing ships sometime soon....turns out she went from Ship 7 to Ship 4 I believe...but then she also said it wouldn't affect mail, although she did list a new address. So...I don't know what its all about but am assuming its like someone suggested below that its to even out SR numbers possibly.
RTC posted on their web site this week that they are doing some reorganization and that many divisions are moving Ships. Division doesn't change. My recruit actually changed divisions. Along with a ship change there is an address change. You will find the announcement on the RTC facebook page.
My son called today and his ship, division and even PIR date changed. (PIR by only a week)
Im assuming its all due to the shuffling going on.
