I just found out that my daughter will be in division 935 on Ship 2.  Does anyone have any information on the 900 divisions?  I know there is some here somewhere and I will keep looking but any help would be welcome.

Thanks,

CoLee

Did you receive that info from the recruiter or the form letter? I can't see how you would have a form letter this quickly. Remember do not send letters before receiving the form letter, which should come around 10 days after she left. See Letter Writing & Fun Stuff/Questionnaires to send to your Recruit for more on that.

The Page, 800 and 900 Divisions (clickable link), within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will be of interest to you since you have a recruit in a performing division. I believe that Division 935 is Sticks (Flags). I invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) while you are there and to check out the other Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) as well.

You may also want to check out Women in the Navy, Mom’s of Navy Daughters, and Mom's of Daughters 2.

My daughter's recruiter called and told me the information.  But I would prefer to wait for the letter, like you said, just in case something is different.  The address he gave me was different from the address on this site as well.  So I would feel more comfortable knowing for sure.  I am going to check those pages out.  I did join the group for Division 800 & 900 to see more information.  Thank you for all the wonderful links.

You are very welcome. I see that your SR will be an MA, so we will be sharing this journey for some time to come. MA is a rating very dear to my heart since my Sailor is an MA and is making it his career. Be sure to check out "Break down week by week" within San Antonio MA's; that will let you know what happens at NTTC Lackland (San Antonio). You will also want to join MAA Moms. Other groups to check out are New MAA Mom's (it has not been very active) and Security Sailors (it is not as active and includes loved ones of Sailors from other ratings as well).

Thanks for all the links for MA.  Yes my daughter was very excited to go in as a MA.  She wasnt supposed to go in June, then it got changed to September, then it got changed to May.  LOL Lots of bumps in her road, but she is finally there.  Thanks again,

You are very welcome. This journey will continue to be an interesting one and just when you think you have things figured out, something will change.

Hello RaynesMom, My name is Gene and my son is also in ship 2 div 935. So far you are the only one I have found that has a daughter in the same group. I look forward in talking to you.

Join the group, PIR 07/12/2013 TG 35, to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR. There willlater be a discussion within that group for that division.

You may also want to join, or at least check out, Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones), PIR Reference Information, and New Members Stop Here. There will be a lot of great information and support for you in those groups as well as in the PIR group. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions within the groups. The Page, 800 and 900 Divisions (clickable link), within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will be of interest to you since you have a recruit in a performing division. I believe that Division 935 is Sticks (Flags).

Hi Gene.  What is your SR's last name? When I speak to my daughter I can mention him and see if she knows him or anything important to post up on the group.  I was able to speak to my daughter yesterday.  Very happy to hear her voice.  I hope your son was able to contact you yesterday as well.

Remember to share last names only in a PM after friending a person and do not post them openly on the web. See the Community Guidelines and OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes To Your Profile) (clickable links) for more on that.

Hello,

My son is also in Division 935! I am so glad to meet some parents that have a loved one in Boot camp.
