Just got my daughters mailing address from her recruiter.  He's been checking for it.  He also gave us her PIR.  So is it confirmed that we will only be issued 3 tickets?

Yes, the 11/8/19 PIR is only allowed 3 guests.

@Olive Oyl when did she get to GL?

Did you get the form letter or just the address from the recruiter?  If you haven't gotten the form letter yet, Please wait to mail anything.  There is a whole page on Why you should wait.  Also the form letter will have the correct information as to how many guests.

I got her form letter on Wednesday night 9/18 and received a letter from her on 9/26. Hopefully a phone call soon. I would think maybe the weekend. I keep my phone with me at all times.
Finally got a call from my daughter. She was crying. Broke my heart. She said that it's cold at night and they were only given 1 blanket. She said that they wash their clothes in regular detergent and it makes her itchy. We usually use Clear and Free type of detergent. Her boots have not given her blisters yet, unlike her fellow sailors. We gave her positive words of encouragement. She has received 4 of my letters. She says that there is very little time to write. If felt good to hear from her.
I know of one other Mom's SR who is cold at night as well. She sleeps in many layers of clothing to help keep her warm. Maybe this would work for your daughter as well.

Thank you for the advice.  It just seems to be such an easy fix to give another blanket or thicker blankets.  This would also help with them from getting sick and having to possibly stay additional time due to performance issues.  She is a true California girl. We are wearing coats when it gets low 60's.

Has anyone ever used Sandboxx to make travel arrangements?

Olive Oyl - I'm sorry to hear that she is cold!  That's the worst feeling - I'm in CA too and for me it's a coat required below 70!  This morning I had to turn on my little heater in my office lol!  If she can't get another blanket hopefully she can layer up.

I know of others that have used Sandboxx for travel and they had no issues.  Your other option is to book with Southwest - no change fees and 2 bags free!
