Hey everyone- my daughter left for boot camp October 2nd. I missed a call from her last Friday telling me that her graduation is December 13th. I feel like the worst mom in the world for missing her call. Really didn’t expect her to call so soon but it is/was great hearing the sound of her voice. Glad I have a voice mail to listen to anyway. Anyone else’s daughter graduating December 13th?

Hello—

My daughter left October 1st and so far I haven’t received a call or any letters. I didn’t know they can call that fast to give you an update.  The last call from her was when she arrived the famous 20 seconds call. Don’t feel bad I have been answering all calls and so far I have only had some annoying telemarking calls. Congratulations!!!

Gigi, I don’t know her division. I haven’t received the form letter or anything. Her voice mail was hard to understand but it sounded like “ours got set back a week.” So I’m not sure what’s going on.
Have you gotten your form letter yet? I have not. Not knowing anything is so hard.
Thanks, Gigi. Yes it was only because her class graduation date had been pushed back a week, we are guessing because of Thanksgiving. Yes, I totally thought it was a telemarketer and ignored the call. Feel really bad for that. Lesson learned though and I’ve been paying for it by answering every annoying telemarketer call since lol.

Yes according to my calendar her PIR should be November 29 Black Friday by I was checking website and there is a message saying that PIR’s will be Wednesday Nov. 27??? Do you know what division or ship she is in?? I don’t know if you can say it here for privacy concerns you can DM me if you like. I am totally new to all this web thing. Lol I would hate to travel for thanksgiving week but that’s my only option I will do anything for my girl.

Donita,

So sorry you missed your call but had the voice mail so you still heard from her!!!!

Thanks, Anna! It is nice to have and be able to go back and listen to again.

My daughter left for boot camp the same day!  I haven't received a call yet and I assumed that she'd be graduating on 11/27. Maybe I'm wrong...

We assumed the same about sarah but had never been given a real date for her graduation. Surprised me also. Maybe it’s only the division she’s in? So hard to know anything with no way to communicate.

My daughter is Sarah also!

Oh wow! That’s so funny!
Kcoult68 have you received your form letter yet?
