Does anyone have a projected PIR date for 10/30/20? I would like to send a friend request.

I got my official letter today! I had just pulled out of my driveway heading down the street in my neighborhood and saw my postman several blocks away and stopped him to ask if he could give me my mail and showed him my DL. I cried tears of joy on the way to my clients house. God is awesome!

Thanks

Jen

Hi everyone. My puppy is still lost .... absolutely nothing. No info from FB yet.  Maybe a phone call tomorrow. I read that 393 might be calling this weekend. I had a dream about 4 weeks ago that he was 393. It would be funny if he were .... but I do not know. So far Sandboxx has not informed me of any returned letters. Hoping that will happen Monday or Tuesday if there is no call tomorrow.

I am still having a ton of screen trouble. And I sleep too much. I am glad I don't have any kids at home that need me to do anything in particular for them (my daughter doesn't need much anymore).  I thankfully can still cook, so we celebrated Oktoberfest today. The town I grew up in had the biggest Oktoberfest celebration in North America every year. Being keto has made that more difficult, but I have keto hoagies, keto pretzels, and keto apple strudel. My SR loves apple strudel (maybe from watching too much Hogan's Heroes?), so that made me sad.

Yay Shanny for your phone call. So jelly about all those letters and phone calls.

Concerts ..... ugggghhhhh .... my first one was Peter, Paul, and Mary when I was about 5. Then came Dave Wilcox (Canadian) at 17. Then INXS with OMD opening. I did catch Neil Diamond on his farewell tour, and Barry Manilow on his. I had tickets to Def 2 years ago, but the concert fell on curriculum night, so I gave the tickets to my older daughter and her husband and I went to curriculum night. She definitely owes me for that!!! Saw Wynonna in '97.  Hopefully concerts will come back next year.

Kristel you did the right thing. Be strong for him. We always told our kids that if they signed up for something, the could not quit part way through. They had to finish the season/class. I would tell my SR that if he feels the same AFTER  boot camp, he can make a better decision then, but quitting part way through is just not acceptable and does not give him a fair chance to know if he REALLY  likes it or not. Besides, 4-6 more weeks is a very short chance to give something. And by then his feelings from ROM will be far gone and he will probably love it.

Hopefully I will be on more tomorrow .... maybe with another 12-hour sleep? And maybe I will get a call tomorrow? Tomorrow is full of maybes and hopes and promises. Good night y'all.

Oh Kat, thank god I seen this message! There were a bunch of us worried and asking about you. When you finally feel better enough to be online, please let the BC group know your still kickin’!!! Lol  I hope your head is feeling a little better. Such torture these headaches & migraines. They really are!

@jen.....My SR new PIR date is 10/30!!

SO I just saw this post but wanted to comment that even if they quit part way through they have to be processed out and the Navy takes their own sweet time with that.  It can take 4-6 weeks for that to happen and at that point they should have just stayed in!!!
