Hello to all!
It's been busy over here planning for our son's wedding. Yes, he did get his PDS orders and he'll be staying in the states! We're all so happy for him.
C'smom ~ I'm so glad that sending his gift got to him in time! What a blessing it is that we have facetime!
Hope you all had a nice weekend!
My sailor finally got the package today. He's still waiting for the two envelopes! But it was fun! He facetimed us while he opened his gifts. He said he is taking a test Tuesday to move up a phase. And he's been role playing for a class that graduates this week.
Mailed my first envelope to my Sailor at A school today. I included the PSC number just to be on safe side...
I sent certified so I can track it ... & know who signed for it.
Hugs to all.
C'sMom - If the tracking showed it was delivered he should still get it. My son got a package delivered but it was several days before he was actually able to get it. He said if the box was to big to fit into their small lock boxes at their post office it got stored in the back and it took longer for some reason? As for training, I'm sure your son will enjoy it! Mine has enjoyed everything but the OC course lol. He did it the day before flying home for the holidays but was glad he had it out of the way before flying back down.
I wondered the same thing about the PSC. I asked my sailor and he said no. But what you say makes sense. We have sent two envelopes and one package. The tracking on the package said it was delivered on the 29th, but he hasn't received the envelopes or the package yet. That must be why. I'm afraid they are lost now. It was nothing of major value, but I did want him to receive them. We also shipped something from Amazon without that PSC and he got that.
kim, your son will be graduating at about the same time mine starts class. If he starts when he was told he would.
newmilmom - I googled the acronym and that's what popped up that made the most sense. I'm new to all these acronyms too and google is a huge help lol. You are very welcome!
Kim...Thank you! I wasn't sure if helps or not but thought I couldn't hurt but, being new to this I wanted to clarify a bit.
Sincerely appreciate it!
c'smom - he is still in Texas and should graduate the last week of January.
Newmilmom - I think it stands "Postal Service Center". I would include it if I were you?
Good Morning!
Question -- I have an address for my sailor but under his name line it listed a PSC#
Does that need to go on the address if we mail to him?
We are needing to ship a laptop to him & need to make sure it gets to him. He bought one at the store on base but, it died after 2 months & their return policy won't take it back it seems.
Thanks!
Kim, where is your son now? Has he graduated A school?
