DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

My dad, Army Air Corp - WWII.

Third one from the right is my tall skinny brother Ray!
The black and white picture above was from his boot camp in San Diego. Back when they had boot camp there in the 60's.

These are later. I know he went to his ET school in Jacksonville, FL and Virginia.

Sue, isn't that what they used to call sparky? A radioman? (or woman?)
SueS do you know that if your father-in-law is your sailors Grandpa that makes your sailor a legacy?
the way I understand it is IF your family member was on a ship that was sunk during battle, you are a legacy and that is very important :) Look into that ------- We are working on Coltons legacy right now. His uncle was on the WASP.

My Mother US Navy W.A.V.E.

I hope this is not too big ------ Look at what I just found. (decided to dig one of the WWII boxes out)
Its Stamps to put on letters. I will post the real Stamps next. Get ready to say Ahhh and Ohhhh made me almost cry !!

I must say those are the coolest stamps!!! They might be worth a small fortune to a stamp collector...not that I am encouraging you to part with them - they are TOO cool.

Can you imagine...48 for 5 cents?!
Very cool Molly.
I remember this now. I commented on this picture last year sometime from your page! Thank you for posting all this Molly.
OK this is our project either when I get back from Virginia, or when Will goes in (to keep your mind away from BC) I need to find the official documents of my uncle. I know where we search and how.
this will be fun for us to do together SusieQ. The easiest thing is to get his real name and SS# or service #, but if you cant find that, we can start at is he buried at military cemetary ? if so where.
Ok Girl dont forget and remind me and we will play and get our boys background info :)

Legacy = 1st respect, but it also gets you points for things like STA 21, Annapolis (just a tad edge) I dont know what else ---but Colton says it is important to be a legacy. tee hee hee This will be a hoot !!
