Any Moms in the South Houston, Pasadena, Clear Lake, LaPorte, Galveston County and all surrounding areas!

I have talked with 4 other moms in these areas and we would like to start a group of us that get together once a month and do different things like go out to eat, scrape booking days, shopping days, ect... If you are interested in something like this then let us know. I am thinking our next evening out will be May 19th at 630. I am thinking either TGI Friday's or Cafe Express both at 45 and Bay Area Blvd. If you have a preference or have another suggestion let us know.

Hey Dawn I would love to go but I will be in California on your first get together so I will check back and see when the next one will be.
Hey Dawn,

It's Melanie and I would love to get together. I really enjoyed our last dinner. May 19th sounds good to me!!! Just let me know and call me, you have my number!!!!! I hope your Son is doing well in Japan. DJ starts his "A" school today in Chicago, but still does not how long he will be there.
I'm glad he is getting started. I know they get bored really fast when they don't have something to do. I'll give you call closer to the date. I am excited to get a group going. I really enjoyed our last dinner too. Hopefully the other ladies can join us this time. Talk to you soon.
Maybe next time Cecilia. Have fun in Cali!
Hi to all in the South/Southeast area. I live in Deer Park, and my son is stationed at Oceana NAS in Virginia Beach. I would like to get together with ya'll sometime soon. My husband had surgery earlier this week, so I am off today taking him to treatments. Not sure if I'd be able to make the May 19th dinner, as I'll have to see his recovery, but would be very interested in making future dates. Thanks so much for kicking this off !!!!!!
Ailene, We would love to have you any time you can make it. I would like to have some on the weekends so others who can't make a week day can join us too. I am so excited about getting this started!
Hi, I am in DP too. Did your sailor go to DPHS? Mine did grad. 08, now he is in Pensacola for A school. Would love to talk to you. Hope your husband recover and we can meet at the Navy mom's get together. How old is your sailor? Mine is 19 on June 1st. DEP in DP? Curious if they know each other. MM
Yes, my son graduated from DPHS in 2006. He turned 21 in April. My husband is doing much better - thanks for asking. They did find bladder cancer, but it's completely contained to the bladder, so they have started treatments, and say this type of cancer responds really well to medicine that was previously used for tuberculosis. They're not sure why it works so well for bladder cancer, but say it has excellent results -so we don't really care why -- as long as it works.... Hope we can meet at a Navy Mom's get together soon. My son did his A school in Meridian, MS, and is now at Oceana (Virginia Beach) - he likes it there - well, now that it's warmed up.
Hi Martha and Alan, my son Jeff graduated from DP in 2005. He went right into the Navy after school has been in for 3 years. He is a MM on the USS Wasp. He has almost 3 more years. He has been to alot of place and seen alot of things and countries. He may never had been to those place without the Navy's help. Jeff is in Norfolk, VA. Has a wife and a one year old son, with another on the way. Good luck to your son and hope him all the best.
