Any Moms in the South Houston, Pasadena, Clear Lake, LaPorte, Galveston County and all surrounding areas!

I have talked with 4 other moms in these areas and we would like to start a group of us that get together once a month and do different things like go out to eat, scrape booking days, shopping days, ect... If you are interested in something like this then let us know. I am thinking our next evening out will be May 19th at 630. I am thinking either TGI Friday's or Cafe Express both at 45 and Bay Area Blvd. If you have a preference or have another suggestion let us know.

Any word on our next outing!!!!!! Sorry I missed the last one, but I was really sick.
Hello Ladies... I am in the North Houston Central area. I'm very new at this. My daughter Ashley is 20 yrs old and is stationed in San Diego California. She has left for the first time on her ship the USS Ronald Regan this past Thursday.
I am so very proud of her but... yet it is tearing me up inside!! The first time we were ever apart was Boot Camp and then followed A school. OMG.. how hard this was for me!! I can't seem to stop the tears from running.
How did you handle this? She will be gone for 4 1/2 to 6 months. I think by then I will be going crazy out of my mind. Please tell me it gets easier!!
I'm so happy right now...!! She just called me!! I feel so relieved to know that she is okay.. She said things are good and going smoothly!! I hope you don't mind if I write every now and then.. I just need to keep a clear mind... and talk to people that understand what I'm feeling!!

Thanks again for listening!!
God Bless

Hey Dawn,

When is our next outing going to be?
Hi - I live in the Rosharon (Pearland) area, but I'm from Galveston. I would love to be included in your next outing. My son is still in GL almost done with A school for ET. It seems like he's been there forever. He should be home for a couple of weeks this summer before he goes to C school (not sure where that will be yet).
I live in Pearland. I love the idea.

I live in the La Porte area and would love to meet other mom's with children in the Navy. I am very interested in meeting and need to learn how to scrapbook. Please let me know. Debbie
I think it is time we stop talking about it and get busy!!! haha - I want to come and if we wait until August, I'll be back in school!!

Can someone in that area find a nice meeting place?

Jeff's Mom - come spend a few days with me and we can learn to scrapbook together!! I bought TONS of stuff - and books to know how - just have to get organized and creative (which is hard for my mathematical brain).
Hello Dawn,
My name is Regina Pointer I live in Texas CIty. My son is Tavares Smith. Just stopping by to say that I would like to join your little group if it is not to late. So you can email me at rypointer_38@yahoo.com and let me know what I need to do to get more involved. I am a single mother with just that one and very proud of him knowing his dad was not in his life. I think I did a good job all by myself. So let me know okay.
It is NEVER too late to join us - we just are here offering help and support as needed!!

Yep, you did do a GREAT job - you raised a US NAVY SAILOR - be proud!!!

I am new to "Navy Moms". My son is currently at recruit training in Corpus/Ingleside NS with the USNSCC (Sea Cadets) group. Though he is 2 years from graduating high school -- I am interested in meeting with local Navy Moms.
