Molly had the GREAT idea to send some N4M love to some of our military that are "hurting".
I am going to say that July 12 is the "birthday" of this endeavor. July 13 it got named!!
"M.A.S. Special Hugs" - M.A.S. - for Molly's Adopt a Sailor!!!

From Molly: Hey Moms ---- we are having some wounded guys coming our way. Would you like to make a thread and those who would like to send a card or messages to our wounded ones.

If you know of someone in the military "hurting" and needing a "special hug" - PM me (Brenda Sue) the address and I'll post it in our "special place." I do ask that you keep us updated on the condition or change of address of anyone that has a lingering need.

OK - Mom's let's get this ball on the roll!!

I am going to keep these names in one place - so people don't have to read through hundreds of pages to find them. Go to MAS We Ship Love (Click Here) for the addresses. This is a private group - just ask to be a member and after you have been "checked out" - the powers that be accept you!

Please use the labels designed in the "Shipping Labels" discussion so they will be easily recognized!!

You can either print these on stickers or just tape them to the envelopes. If neither is possible, just write Molly's Adopt a Sailor on the envelope - so they know where they are coming from.

Molly's took you to the main page and you had to hunt for him. I found it!
Gotta go update the discussion.

I really want to say that I am very disappointed in the number of cards that I have here for Maxine and the family of Daniel G. (like only three cards each)!! I hope more come in swarms the next few days. I even dream of having to go rent a mailbox because my home box cannot hold all the cards!!
Brenda, You should be getting a card for each from me. They are "in the mail."
Brenda you need to give it time as we all work on different stages ---even with the VET letters that we ONLY did for 2 weeks. We didnt get them all for about a month.

Things take time to get rolling also -------- MAAS only have 5 the first month NOW look at us a year later !! Patience my dear girl ----
Also you are the facilitator of the info --what people do with the info is another story !!

And be very careful what you wish for ---you may have to rent that box one day ?? LOL LOL LOL
Molly, you should know me well enough by now to know that patience is NOT one of my virtues!!
Rome was not built in a day :) And again I say be careful what you wish for ------ LOL
my cards go out today... found them sitting on the front seat of my sons car... silly boy!!! Thank goodness I found them along with the power bill!!! We would have been sitting in the dark wondering why they shut off the power...
haha - Susan, that reminds me of one time when I was a child. Our mailbox was at the end of our long driveway (we lived in the country). So mom handed me the months bills to put in the mailbox on my way to catch the school bus. By the time I got there - I forgot and just brought them to school with me and put them in my locker.
I still remember mom coming to the school a couple of weeks later and asking about them. We opened my locker and out them came!!
Brenda Sue - I addressed Coltons card to you by mistake. Could you please forward it to him. I sent most of my cards out today. I had to run and get more sympathy cards. It was a heart wrenching day. My heart aches for all those families who are in great mourning. I can't begin to imagine their pain. I hope I have brought comfort with my words to at least one single person. That's all I can hope for. Renee
NOT a problem!! I'll forward ANY cards that come here to where they belong!!
Ladies Walgreen's has some great boxes of 12 cards last week they were 2 boxes for 3.00 they had boxes for sympathy , Birthday, and blank cards they are very pretty.
