Any Moms in the South Houston, Pasadena, Clear Lake, LaPorte, Galveston County and all surrounding areas!

I have talked with 4 other moms in these areas and we would like to start a group of us that get together once a month and do different things like go out to eat, scrape booking days, shopping days, ect... If you are interested in something like this then let us know. I am thinking our next evening out will be May 19th at 630. I am thinking either TGI Friday's or Cafe Express both at 45 and Bay Area Blvd. If you have a preference or have another suggestion let us know.

Hello I was interested in joining this site but i see activity has ceased on here. AWW!!!!
nope, we are still here!
Just check the main Texas page mostly!
I am new to this as well. I have found myself responding to messages from May. I don't check my mail everyday so it is a learning experience. Good luck to you.

If anyone is interested we could meet Aug. 20 at 6pm at a new restaurant in League City right on the freeway (45) called Las Brisas. It is a mexican restaurant. If anyone is interested I will call and see if we can get a table for a large group. Let me know. Las Brisas on I45 in League City, Thursday August 20, at 6pm.

Dawn
Dawn - the restaurant sound FABULOUS and in a great location - but I don't think I could make it on a week-night. There is a new mom from my area (at PIR right now) and I know she would LOVE to come also - but she will be out of town that weekend also. There are so many of you from that area - you could have it without us and we could catch you on the next one.

I would like to start meeting regularly and packing boxes for the Adopt a Sailor group!
Aug 20 is "meet the teacher" so I'll be in Conroe with a welcoming smile. I'll keep hoping for a get together. liz
Is anyone able to make the August 20th get together? If no one can make it I can push it back into September. Suggestions anyone??? This isn't just for me, its for all of us in this area to be able to get together, meet each other and give each other support. I will change the date to what is best for everyone...just let me know what that date might be. I am flexible...LOL

Dawn
I can't make it on the 20th either - How about a Friday or Saturday night in early September? We won't have Teacher Open House on those nights.
Dawn,

I'm sorry I missed the info about the get together you had planned for tonight...it's been a rough few weeks. Anyway, I know it's now cancelled and you are working on something for next month. I'd love to make one in September. Our son has PIR from BC on 9/18...other than that weekend, we're pretty much open. We live in Pearland...let me know if I can help with anything!!!

Julie
wow, i guess everyone has been busy this summer, no comments since may? wow. I am still here in this local area, and meeting once in a while sounds like fun. anyone else interested?
That new restauant is good, i have been to the other one on 146 i think, my daughter took us there one night for dinner, and it was great, i hope the new one is as good. she said the same people own it so it should be. The only weekend i cant make it is the weekend of the airshow, we work a booth with the South Houston ROTC.
That sounds like a really good idea Linda. I would definitely be up for that. We have never gone to Wing Over Houston, this would be a great time to start.
