I am wondering how that all works, Meet n great? Do we just show up?
Hello Timsmom, welcome to the group!

Hello "wade142", just curious where you decided to stay and/or if you've made a reservation?

I remember reading that our recruits will probably go through battlestations with their brother division, 362. Do any of you recall the same? Just wondering if anyone has that confirmation so we could get our date on the group page?
Cindy- I am hoping for a letter tomorow which is letter day usually. I will be making our rev. tomorrow either at Knights Inn which is 1.6 miles from base or at crosslands which is 3.2 miles from the base. Both of those are with in my budget...cheap!!!!!! LOL. I'll let you know more tomorrow night after I get off work.
I got my letter today , Skyler said that Battle Stations was this week ? But didnt say if it was with the other Div ?? sorry
Tim's BS starts on the 13th div 363
Got a letter yesterday, gary didn't give me a date either just said it would be this week?? He said that the week should go by fast since they have firefighting, gas chamber, Inspections, last personal fitness, last acedemic test and battle stations next week. I reaaly wished he gave me a date. He slao said he got his orders, that he is going to A school in GL and it doesn't start til Nov. 3rd. What do they do for two weeks while waiting to start school? He said he will be graduating A school Feb 26th. He said they got their ranks and he had to sew on his patches...my son sew OMG that made me laugh he has never picked up a needle in his life. But like everything else he didn't tell me what rank he was at. He said he really doesn't like wearing the dress blues because they are uncomfortable, but that he acutally has a butt in them..lol He also said he has gained 10 lbs and hopes to gain 10 more before he leaves BC..All in All his letter was very positive and I cannot wait for this week to go by so we all can see our sailors!!!
I wonder what they do for the next two weeks while they are waiting to start school??? I am sorry your son didn't make E-2, that really stinks that it was 1 push up, to be that close..jeez...I can't wait til next week either. I know all my associates are really getting tired of me talking about it, I just can't seem to help it, just too excited and it keeps bubbling out!!! I am also looking forward to meeting everyone at teh meet and greet or int he bleachers come PIR!!!!!!
I work for a family (I'm a nanny of 4) And They are sick of me talking about the Navy stuff and my son this and my son that!!! But you know what ? that's my life and I may be a little obsessed over it, but that's why I'm here, so I can share things with others that are nuts about the whole Navy thing and our kids we miss so much, RIGHT? Besides that I'm a wreck over this whole Battle Station stuff, It is just to close to Graduation, I think.
R U kidding Tim give me information! No not him, that's why I'm on here all the time looking for info from all u guys. DEB mom of Jacob posted that date for Battle Staions fo our Div.
Also he said nothing about anything important like all your sons did. All he said was his Ship and Div was crazy, IN A GOOD WAY!!! He seems to like them alot. He is trying to have a liitle humur during all the crazyness of BC. Sounds like most of them are trying too also. He told me he went to church last Sunday and was heart broken that he saw graduates with their families together, he really got homesick bad after that. He said also for us to pray hard for them this coming week, it's gonna be hard for them, so much to do in the end.
I'm just picturing our boys with their needles and threads sewing the patches on their uniforms...what I wouldn't have given for him to be able to sew a simple button! It sounds like the letter we received yesterday was about the same. I even included a survey trying to get details, but still pretty vague. It does make it sound like battlestations is probably Tuesday. I guess the calls will let us know for sure! I look forward to finally meeting you all next week, talking at the meet and greet, then finally hanging out in the bleachers.
I know cindy the sewing has still got me in stitches ( sorry about the Pun). But I would love to been a fly on the wall to see a bunch of grown men sitting together in a sewing circle sewing on their patches...hahahahaha. I told my boss today that from this day forward that I will have my phone on me 24/7 and I will be answering it if he calls. She said as long as I wasn't in the middle of helping a customer. I told her the customer would just have to understand. Of course I would pass the customer off to another associate, but I will answer my phone no matter what!!!!! Just hearing the joy of the mothers that got their "I'm a sailor" call today there is no way in HE double hockey sticks am I going to miss it!!!!
