Aaron's Mom~ You only need to form letter for the password to print the parking permit... and that is important! You can call Public Affairs and try and get it from them... or friends on here may give it to you. I got a real run around but eventually did get the password. PM me if you have more difficulty. (I never got the form letter)
Thank you SueS.
I swear my son must have read my mind. I wrote him a letter yesterday to ask him specifically for that information, even though it was New Years Day and I knew I could not mail the letter until today. I happend to think that I fogot to check the mail yesterday and discovered another letter (the 2nd one within 5 days). In the letter he mentioned the password and said that his RDC suggested he call me with that information! So, now I just have to wait for that phone call! It's countdown time!
He also said he made sure he put us on the access list. So, I think we're good to go as soon as he calls with that password. You may want to look at that website b/c I think it said you needed the parking pass just to get through the gates and then your name had to be on the access list to get into the building. So even if you aren't parking there, it sounds like you will still need the parking pass. At least, that's what I got out of it.
I'm having this problem also. Will try later.
I was just able to get on. I had tried 2-3 times earlier today. It is to early for us to print our parking passes.
MY SON DUSTIN IS SHIP 13 DIV 057 WITH A PIR DATE OF 1-15 WE HAVE ALREADY MADE OUR RESERVATIONS FOR PIR CAN'T HARDLY WAIT
Hi Deb - My son Mike is in the same division! I know the feeling, I can't wait for PIR either!

My daughter's PIR is 1/15/10 13/053 , her name is Katie she is in with her friend Rebecca, has anyone heard if they get to call on Christmas Eve? I read somewhere on here they do? Just curios if anyone has heard the same from there sailors? Thank you Malisa
Son is on Ship 13 DIV 055.... guess what. I missed his phone call... He left a message on voicemail. One bar left on cell phone that evening and I decided to turn phone off... I'm so devastated even though i'ts been about 3 weeks since I missed his call.. Well, he wrote and told me he was able to talk to his girlfriend (i'm so jealous :{)). but i'm glad to know he's just fine. keep the recruits in prayer.. some got the crud; and it's really cold up there. Many are fighting colds. Anyway... PIR IS ONLY 17 DAYS AWAY..... WOW. God bless you all and travelling mercies extended.
My daughter Jessica's (13/054) PIR is the same. Cannot wait to see her. I got a letter from her stating BS in on 1/10 so they should have their ballcaps on Monday.
