Hi Kelly, Have you received your box yet, my son Grant arrived in GL on the 26th also. I haven't received my box, but we have been having bad weather her so I hope I will get it tomorrow. I hope Kyle is doing well. Talk to you soon.
Hey ladies,

We were told by the recruiter that we may be able to drive our son from GL to his A school in SC. Have any of you heard this? Do you think it might be true?
Hi Annette, I recieved a letter from my son yesterday. Grad will be March 19th. In the letter it say that they transport the recruits to the next post. So I don't think he will be allowed to travel with you to SC.
Beth, My son got there on the 21. I got my box right away but didn't get my letter until Saturday.
That is great Beth now time to plan a trip to GL :)
Hi Beth I just got my letter to.....PIR March 19. What ship and div is your son in.
Hi all!! I hope everyone is hanging in there!! Seems as though a week kind of went by in a daze! Although my mom still has not received her "kid in a box" yet or a formal letter. It seems as though everyone who left the same week PIR is March 19th, which is a week sooner than I was counting!!! I am just guessing that will be the date! I really hope to hear from him soon!! God Bless everyone!!!
Hello, my son, Jeff, left Anchorage, Alaska on the 13th of January. He was very excited to go. I am very proud of him. I have recieved two letters from him. I have not gotten his box yet. I am not sure why not. I will going to talk to his recruiter today to ask about it. I do know that he is in Ship 11 Division 117.
