He's on his way.  Anyone else have a loved one who left today-Feb. 8?  I'm still not sure how we go about getting an address so we can write.  If you find out, please let me know

my son left today also.....watching flight tracker and his plane just landed. hopefully he'll text me soon.
my brain feels like it's been wrung out....between crying, talking about this, parties, not sleeping, stress, anticipation....I'm going to crash.

I've been told to call the recruiter in a couple of days.

at the leaving for bootcamp in feb group there's more discussion about this....
I got my call at 11:45 PM. Best 5 seconds of the last couple days. He sounded very happy
Got my call at 1:45 last night. He sounded great, but it did sound like he was reading a script. Oh well, it was him! Said I would get a package in about a week and he'd call in a few weeks!
Yes, that's the drill, the phone call was scripted and read from a paper and supervised. You'll receive your box and then the form letter and they are allowed to write on the bottom of the form letter several lines. You will love seeing those words written in his handwriting. I'm on week 3 and waiting on my phone call, received 2 letters from him last weekend. If you have any other questions please ask - We're all here to help!
MomMom, start writing your letters now so when you do get the address you will be ready to send a few letters. I think it was close to 2 weeks before I actually got my sons address. I think you can ask the recruiter but I waited to hear from my son first with his form letter.
wonder if they're going to be together if they arrive on the same date? guess we'll know when we get the contact information.
My son left from Houston on the 8th as well. Got his phone call about 1:45, he sounded terrible, I'm not sure why it was so late. His recruiter did call me last night with his address. I sent letters out to him today. Hope the address is right.

I haven't cried yet today.....
My son (Chris) left Jan 14 from CT and is currently in BC but his best from left FEB 8 from CT, his name is Ernest.....
just got his address ship 03 div 144....what does this mean? I have to find the post about the next step of setting up a group
