....and here are the ones I did. We had fun doing them. :-)

They look great Karen! I am going to go and check out some other fabric places this weekend. I hope to find some deals and keep on sewing.
Thanks, Nancy!! We love going to the fabric store. My youngest son picked out the skull-n-bones because he thinks that they shoud make all those Bad Guys walk the plank....how can you say "No" to that...lol.

Hope that you have Big Fun tomorrow and find lots of good deals.....can't wait to see them!!! :-)
Love the skull and cross bones.

Nancy what state are you in honey ?
Shirley... best part about this project is that those that sew can buy and stitch... those that don't can find the special little things that remind these guys of home and ship them!!! For now hang on to that money and material. I know that the board is so close to completing our paperwork for us to legally take donations. Then we will really be able to rock and roll!!!

This adoption was different as so much of the focus was on pillowcases. But remember there were lots of moms that packed boxes of all kinds of items for this adoption. We sent 300 PT shirts and over 200 boxes of many comfort items!

I can't wait to see where we go next month... where oh where are we headed Ms. Molly!?!

I know some moms that just have the right words to write a letter... my son tells me my letters are the most boring... oh well I figure someone without mail would like to hear about my walk with the dog or taking my nieces and nephews to the park.

I was so amazed at one of the packing parties that I attended. Some of the things that moms thought to bring to send were so wonderful! I quickily learned what my son and my adopted sons most appreciate when away from home!!!
Love the little sailboats.
Yeah we dont always do the pillowcases -this was a first, not to say its the last it was just the theme this month.
next month something different will pop its head up.

This was a amazing task to try to do 807 pillowcases in 3.5 weeks ---and look how many we did. THAT SHEAR AMAZEMENT.
to pull off 582 in 3.5 weeks -------- CRAZY COCOl and also like Susan said 300 PT shirts over 200 boxes, matter of fact well over 200 more like 250. cases of energy drinks ----- how many again was that 300 drinks also ???
this ship will be smacked full force with LOVE and no one at all will be left out -even if they dont get the pillowcase they will get a shirt a box a drink ------ there is plenty to go around and that Chaplin he knows what to do and how to do it. He will make sure they ones who have not gotten anything this deployment gets many things & that others get some things.
I think this month was tremendously done --- I actually think it was one of our best ever because we pulled this so quickly together -rewmember this was 3 weeks we did this
BZ Momma on all your hard work for this ship and our sailors
Since work interferred with my creativity (cough cough) I couldn't get the pillowcases out last week...I have 37 that will be ready to go thursday (fabric paint needs sooooo long to dry before washing)....can I send on to this group or should I hold for a future group?
Valerie ------ I think go ahead and wait for the March group who are to be announced in just a few hours :)
Thank you Thank you Thank you for everything ------
