YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Phone call lasted bout 20 min. She is good. Said div. is good. She is the Flag person. Not for sure if there is one person or more holding it or how many they could get before PIR . I was so excited. Did not get all the info. and don't Know about the flag achievement either. She said she don't know about PIR weekend till she gets her orders. She said letters coming home may say one thing about it then change. May only get to visit with us a hour after. I pray she gets more but proud of what time we will get. I hope you all got calls or Letters. Bless you all
Hi everyone, I got letters 4 of them. Dated the 9th of Feb. and up. She said bout the samething as she said on call yesterday. Says the letters are finally coming in but we date ours and they are mixed up. Have a good day and hope everyone gets good news.
Hi ladies!!
Yes my brother is a grad n go as well! We are still going to graduation for we live far from Florida and GL. I just can't miss him graduating from what I hear it is quite an experience for them and for families as well. I think they get liberty on weekends at A school so we are hopefully planning a long weekend to Florida. One step at a time my mom keeps telling mel...lol. I will be video taping graduation so if anyone who is not going and wants a copy please let me know I will glady make a dvd and send it to you!!
Anyone get their phone call today? Since no one is awake at 7 am at my house all I got was a voice mail. I am unbelievably pissed at that RDC for thinking that it was okay to do phone calls on a Saturday morning when folks are asleep. I keep my phone with me all the time waiting for his call except in bed. He did say he might get to call next week. I hope he does.
Hi everyone, I got a phone call at 8 am this morning. She called three times. The phone she was calling from was tore up and had to change phones. The last call came thru. Thank God and she sounded so good. Said she is a little worried her PFT is off by 2 min. She said she going to just run her tail off. I tried to support her told her I know she can do it She has came this far. She is a good runner. She said she heard they will get to call around the 17th for everyone to have phones. Said they lost a few along the way one of her good friends said she would explain it later. Said they all are pretty close and support each other. Everyone lets all pray they all make it thru. Bless you all and your family.
So sad I missed the call this weekend. Justin tried multiple times but I never dreamed they'd call on an early Sat. morning so haven't been taking my phone to bed with me. He left a couple messages after trying to wake me for 20 minutes. Said he's doing good. It was the most upset I've been the entire time he's been gone. He did mention that he might get to call this week. Hopefully he'll earn it.
NavyGirlsMom, I'm so sorry she's having trouble with her PFT. Justin did mention in his first call that some in their Div were having trouble with the run. Since he spent several months losing weight and working out with the chief at his recruiter's office he'd learned to go beyond his limits. He actually had more trouble at first with the push ups and had to learn how to do them without getting a splitting headace after 5 or 6. Last I heard he was up to over 80! I think it helps that he's 21 and has already been to college and really knows this is what he wants to do with his life without any shadow of doubt. Oh, that and that he has a learning disability that tends to make his personality somewhat hyper-focused. I do love that boy and I'm starting to get really impatient to see him.
Thanks and Sorry you missed your call. She told me her PFA was the 15th and she heard they may get a call on the 17th then Battle Station was the 18th and Capping was the 19th. That was the schedule she had so far. And they might get to call more after that. I'm excited and ready for the trip. Bless you and your family.
Yes, and then Captain's Cup the next Saturday.
He did call me on Monday. They were at the NEX and he said he didn't have shopping to do so asked the RDC if he could call. We got to talk for 30 minutes and he was very relaxed and happy sounding. I was a really nice conversation and I really have no idea what either of us even said. *smile*
I'm so glad he got to call you. I just can't wait till that call comes in for everyone. Then we all will be able to relax. I get so excited if the phone rings or when the mail runs. Just want to see what she has to say next.
I'm not a writer so I'm having an extremely difficult time writing more than one letter a week. I have sent a few comics from the newspaper but some RDCs consider that contraband so I'm careful to put them in a card so he can just stash them away and not be obvious with them. I've also sent a couple of those questionaires but know that they really do limit his detailed descriptions that I would get other wise. Does anyone else have trouble writing? I just don't know what to say or how to put the boring everyday stuff into words. Luckily I do know that he is doing well and is generally a very happy person not inclined to any sort of depression so I don't really worry but still. I really wish I had written more letters. Regrets are starting to creep in. Do you ever regret the things you've missed or neglected with your kiddos?
Hi My name is Sandra and my daughter is transferring to Div 136 today She was in Div 098 and a PIR date of 2/19 but broke both her heels so has been in RCU and finally passed her FPA and completed all other requirements so is joining this Division to finish Boot camp and do BS21 with them It has been a long journey since she left in Dec but would like to get to know you even though a short time.My other group is still on here supporting us all the way.So will be chatting with you and see you at PIR the 26th
Sandra, I can somewhat relate, but B's wasn't as bad. We got a letter saying she had stress fractures in both shins and a sprained wrist, and this just three weeks prior to PIR. No word on how she did this, just that she was LLD for a week in hopes that they would heal in time for BS21. She was set back once before, so we are praying she is able to do BS21 and does not get help up again. Good luck to your daughter and I hope she does well.
